PROFILE:

Internationally educated, hardworking creative with a passion for design and commitment for architecture.

Having been educated in both England and Norway I am multilingual and can speak and write English, Danish and Norwegian fluently. I also have well developed visual communication skills ranging from freelance model making, an animation qualification and hand and computer drawing examples. I am quick to learn other computer packages and can fit into any office environment and structure.

In both group and individual projects I have obtained strong grades and good feedback from clients and tutors alike. My approach to architecture is to develop a strong concept which can be used to inform my design decisions throughout the design process. Although each project is different my strong design skills combined with solid research puts my signature on the final designs. I always try to learn something new from each project be it academic or professional, expanding my knowledge and developing my skills whilst never losing sight of deadlines or the brief.

In total I have 21 months of pre RIBA part II professional experience. Being; 12 months at Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams Architects in Manchester, England and 9 months at Guy Hollaway Architects, Kent. In addition I have a number of freelance model commissions which are available to view in a portfolio.

As far as my design aesthetic, it is hard to pin down; on one hand I enjoy simple and contemporary, while on the other I appreciate eclectic and vintage. I always seem to find a happy medium.

"My affinity for design is matched by my love to laugh."
